I've been cutting hair for as long as a remember. I began with my own hair around the age of four. After giving myself a very Unfashionable mullet, I began trimming my Barbies' hairs and also my stuffed animals' furs.

As I matured, I revisited cutting my own hair, with much better success, and began experimenting with hair color. I found I had a talent for both cutting and coloring my own hair. As I neared my high school graduation, I began to seriously considering becoming a hairstylist. 

 

I attended Paul Mitchell The School at MTI College in Sacramento, California. I graduated in October 2011 and have been working as a hairstylist at Upper Cuts Salon in Citrus Heights, California,  since March 2012. The services I offer include precision  haircutting, hair color,  and special event styling.  

 

In addition to my work behind the chair, I also style hair on-location for fashion shows, including Sacramento Fashion Week, photoshoots, and more.  I am also available for weddings. (To Book: email KristinDeanHair@gmail.com)
